THE Westpac Rescue Helicopter is on route to the Wilson Memorial Hospital in Murrurundi to care for a female patient. The patient has a medical condition requiring specialist treatment and once stabilised by the Helicopter Critical Care Team, will be flown to the John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle.

LAST night the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked to Merriwa Hospital to treat a seven year old male who suffered a serious medical episode. The Helicopter Critical Care Medical team stabalised the boy and airlifted him to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition. He will receive further medical treatment at John Hunter Hospital.
